dia!!!
Ahhhh,
a Serra Gaúcha!! Acho essa região uma das mais lindas e charmosas do Brasil!
Chegamos
aqui no sábado e já fomos direto para uma fábrica de chocolate (muito típico da
região), onde conhecemos o Maior Coelho de Chocolate do Mundo! Fomos então para
nosso hotel, localizado em Canela, onde aproveitamos para curtir e nos
esquentarmos na deliciosa piscina aquecida!
Ontem
tivemos um dia intenso de passeios: visitamos o Parque Caracol, o Castelinho
Caracol, onde todos conheceram o pequeno museu com objetos da colonização alemã
e ainda tiveram a oportunidade de saborear o melhor Apfelstrudel (torta de
maçã) da região! Também visitamos o Mundo a Vapor, fizemos um “desfile de
modas” em uma famosa fábrica de couro e para finalizar a tarde, visitamos o
Parque Knorr, onde fica a fantástica Aldeia do Papai Noel!! À noite fomos
jantar em um autêntico “Café Colonial”, onde saboreamos tantas delícias doces e
salgadas que vocês nem imaginam!
Agora
todos estão fazendo os últimos passeios por aqui, e após o almoço partiremos
para Porto Alegre, aonde vamos apenas dormir antes de seguir viagem para o Uruguai!!!
O caminho ainda é longo até lá, vamos atravessar a fronteira para o Uruguai pelo
Chuí, cidade mais meridional do Brasil!
Um
grande abraço e mando mais notícias já de Punta del Este, no Uruguai!

Ahhhh, Serra Gaúcha... I think
this region is the most charming of Brazil!
We arrived here on Saturday and
went straight to a chocolate factory (very typical on the region). There we get
to know the Biggest Chocolate Rabbit in the World!! Just after we went to our
hotel in Canela, and we enjoyed the hotel´s hot swimming pool!
Today we had an intense day of
tours: we visited the Caracol Park, Castelinho
Caracol, where we could get to know a small museum of the German
colonization of the area, as well had the opportunity to taste the best Apfelstrudel
(apple pie) of the region!! We also visited the “Steam World”, made a “Top Model”
presentation on a leather factory and we finished our tours visiting Knorr Park
(Santa Claus Village)!!! At night we ate dinner at the authentic “Café
Colonial” of Serra Gaúcha, where we tasted sweet and salty pies, cheeses, and
other delicious that you probably cannot imagine!
Right now the exchange
students ate making our last tours over here, and after lunch we will leave to
Porto Alegre, where we will just spend the night before heading to URUGUAY!!! We
still have a long way ahead: we will cross the border to Uruguay at Chuí, the
most southern city of Brazil!
